How Much Does It Cost to Rent Casino Tables for a Party? | Fun Casino Hire Prices Explained
Fun casino hire prices explained.
Learn the cost of blackjack, roulette and poker table hire for weddings, parties and corporate events.

It’s a reasonable question to ask, ‘How much is a casino?’, but it’s not a simple answer. It’s like asking, ‘How much is a wedding?’. It depends on what you're planning. After decades working in real casinos and running Mock Vegas fun casino nights across London and Southern England, I've learned that the cheapest option isn't always the best value, and the most expensive isn't always necessary.
In this modern world of price > pay here> it arrives on your doorstep, in contrast an event with many variables is difficult to price immediately. The key is getting the right number of tables, the right games, the right atmosphere for your guests and, of course, everyone has a budget.
So What Affects the Cost of Fun Casino Hire?
We need to know three things – location, the date and the number of guests.
Location
An event in a hotel close to base in Surrey or Hampshire will cost less than one in Central London where parking, congestion and access can be challenging.
The Date
Certain times of year are naturally busier. Christmas party season is extremely popular for corporate casino nights, especially on the weekend dates, so availability becomes more limited and the professional croupiers Mock Vegas always use command a higher fee because they are much in demand.
The Number of Guests
A casino night for 20 guests needs a very different setup from an event for 200 guests. We want to create busy, buzzing tables without overcrowding.
What's Included in a Mock Vegas Casino Hire?
Every Mock Vegas booking includes authentic casino tables, professional croupiers with real casino experience, plenty of gaming chips, standard fun money, three hours of casino entertainment, delivery, setup, dismantling and transport. There are no hidden extras. There are optional upgrades such as bespoke fun money, Vegas props or additional operating time which will increase the final price.
Example Fun Casino Hire Prices
As a guide, typical prices are for maybe a small house party for 20 guests or more; £395–£435.
That would be one casino table with a professional croupier. It’s ideal for birthdays, anniversaries, private and family celebrations.
For something like a wedding with 80 guests or more; £615–£635
Typically two casino tables a blackjack and roulette combination is popular, keeping guests entertained without long waits.
A corporate event with 150–1000 guests; £635–£2,200
The exact setup depends on guest numbers, venue size and the types of games chosen.
These examples are based on events outside Central London, Brighton and other major cities, and outside peak party season.
Why Some Casino Games Cost More Than Others
Not all casino games require the same skill level. For example blackjack and roulette are quick, easy to learn and ideal for larger events, guests can start playing within minutes.
Poker dealers need specialist skills and intense concentration. Texas Hold'em tournaments require much more dealer involvement than blackjack or roulette. Craps is one of the most complicated casino games to deal and explain, for that reason, poker and craps dealers generally command higher fees.
The Most Expensive Mistake People Make
This assumption catches people out regularly - "Not everybody will want to play." In reality, around 80% of guests usually do, or at least ‘have a quick go’ like they would at the Derby. I can assure you that for every person who doesn't play, there are often three enthusiastic guests asking if they can have that person's fun money. The result is that the tables end up just as busy as if everyone had participated.
Too few tables can create overcrowding, frustrated guests pushing to get on the tables, lost equipment and overworked croupiers too busy to engage and be friendly. It’s not a positive experience for anyone. I have occasionally refused enquiries where the proposed setup was simply unrealistic. If I know guests won't enjoy themselves, I'd rather be honest than take the booking.
A Real Example
One Christmas party organiser approached me wanting entertainment for approximately 800 guests and asked me to make the bill as small as possible because of budget. I suggested four casino tables and explained how we could manage guest flow. I heard nothing for ages but he eventually returned asking if we could reduce it to just one table! I explained that would be complete chaos. Guests would struggle to get near the table, the croupier would be overwhelmed, equipment would be lost in the scrum and nobody would enjoy themselves. I politely declined the booking. "Now I have a casino-themed party with no casino!" I explained I would not subject staff to those circumstances and a little research regarding realistic costs would have been wise before planning. One table for 800 guests isn't really a ‘casino’ either.
How Many Tables Do You Actually Need?
This is where my experience helps. There is a sweet spot in the number of tables/number of guests ratio. The games you choose matter as well. Blackjack and roulette are fast-paced and easy to learn. Casino Stud Poker is faster than Texas Hold'em and works well alongside other casino games.
Games to Be Careful With
Texas Hold'em Poker and Craps are fantastic games, but they're slower. If your guest-to-table ratio is already tight, these games can cause bottlenecks. If guest numbers are generous, perhaps 40 guests per table rather than 60, then you can introduce slower games such as poker or simply provide guests with more fun money to enjoy.
What Questions Should You Ask Casino Hire Companies?
When comparing quotes, ask:
Do you use professional croupiers with real casino experience? This matters more than many people realise because inexperienced dealers are slower and less confident, so fewer guests get entertained.
Do you have public liability insurance? Any professional operator would have it.
Is VAT included? Some quotes look cheaper...... until the VAT is added later.
